Puerto Rico-Farewell Party

The final night, we took the camera to the farewell party. The band, who also played the night before at the formal gala, rocked for 3 hours straight playing everything from MJ's "Billy Jean", Aerosmith's "Walk this Way!", and Party Cat's "I like to Move It, Move It"

The older gentleman in the distant middle is the President of BofA Mortgage. Part of his job is to dance with the troops...

Puerto Rico's El Conquistador Golf Resort and Hotel

Here is a view of the main hotel just off one of the hotel's patio bars...

...moving to the right, you see the hotel's tennis courts with the golf course behind. James played in a golf tournament on Friday morning of the trip. But, as luck would have it, forgot to take the camera. But, take it from him, the views from the elevated tee boxes were amazing!

Yes, it's the Corona Commercial!

We arrived early at the resort owned island called Palamino Island. White sand and palm shades to the right...

...white sands and waves to the left.

By the afternoon, the beach was full of hotel guests.

Music, beach towel, and cold drinks make for a perfect day.

Arrival in Puerto Rico!

By the time we arrived, the sun was beginning to set

But, the next morning we could see the small island just off the coast

The room was very nice. Don't be confused by the '70's fashions. Remember, the '70's are back!

Our room enjoyed a gorgeous view of the Puerto Rican coast to the west.

A lot of playtime is missed when waiting for a snack.

But, in the end, snacks are sooooo goooood!
